Staring at the sky

I just love this statue. It resides at the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Glendale.
Popped by yesterday to check out the new show at their museum (which was great btw) but had to get a few more snaps of this lovely girl before I left. And the overcast day just made it better!

An Army of One, minus one

This morning I got the news that one of the most positive and strong voices I have had the honor of meeting, passed away. It is definitely a darker day with the loss of Jef Campion (Army Of One/JC2). If you knew him or his work, then you knew his passion for humanity. He was a force to be reckoned with and a pleasure to be around. Rest in peace sir Jef, you made a difference- your work will continue to make a difference!

Realizing self and starting the new year

At the beginning of the year, Jan 3rd to be exact, I went for my second visit to the Self Realization Fellowship up in the Pacific Palisades. It's a beautiful place to visit any time of year, but it just feels like in the winter- it's extra peaceful. With few people out and about, it was lovely watching the fog roll through and the hazy sun shine on the lake. The photos say it all.

Surf's up

No better way to start 2014 with some fun in the sun and surf. An early morning on the pier is heavenly. Hoping to see more of the pacific this winter, summer at the beach is so 2013!

Fa la la and Merry ho ho ho!

The holidays always make me think about the things I'm thankful for. Photography is on the top of the list... well along with family, friends, health and all that good stuff! So I thought I would take this opportunity to post a little thank you to all my clients. This set is from July/Aug 2013 when I got to make gorgeous photos with awesome people. I couldn't be happier with all the fantastic work I had- and hope to continue having with everyone. Thank You!
Have a wonderful holiday season, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year :)

Ballerina in the big city

This summer, I had the immense pleasure of making some incredible art with a ballerina. Cassie was great. We braved the heat and the crowds and ran around Central Park in NYC for a good 2.5 hours. It could have gone on for 2.5 more, this was one of my favorite shoots to date. These are some of the winning images.
If you have a creative idea for a shoot, I would love to hear it! I'm always looking to get out and make something magical.
