A visit to Joshua Tree

 I mean, what can you really say about the desert? It's vast, dry, quirky and uber photogenic. Yes there can be repetitiveness in the scenery but that's when you go off the usual path, bring props, carry multiple formats- you know, geek out! That's what we did this past weekend. I met up with about a dozen polaroid/film/instant photographers for some r&r and shootin. It was a good time.

An Army of One, minus one

This morning I got the news that one of the most positive and strong voices I have had the honor of meeting, passed away. It is definitely a darker day with the loss of Jef Campion (Army Of One/JC2). If you knew him or his work, then you knew his passion for humanity. He was a force to be reckoned with and a pleasure to be around. Rest in peace sir Jef, you made a difference- your work will continue to make a difference!

Realizing self and starting the new year

 At the beginning of the year, Jan 3rd to be exact, I went for my second visit to the Self Realization Fellowship up in the Pacific Palisades. It's a beautiful place to visit any time of year, but it just feels like in the winter- it's extra peaceful. With few people out and about, it was lovely watching the fog roll through and the hazy sun shine on the lake. The photos say it all.
