Gone so long!
Oh I thought I was going to do so good keeping up with this blog!
Summer happened... I have no excuse. Well summer and a huge cross country move! It's both sad and awesome at the same time. The husband and I will be moving back to the east coast in a couple of weeks, not to NY this time but to NJ. We've gotten quite accustomed to the quiet of the burbs and wanted to try something new. So after 5 sun drenched years, we will be saying farewell September 1st to Los Angeles and hello again friends and family back east!
There is of course alot to take care of in the meantime so for now, I leave you with this adorable gif of one of my favorite families ever- The Butlers!

Fa la la and Merry ho ho ho!
The holidays always make me think about the things I'm thankful for. Photography is on the top of the list... well along with family, friends, health and all that good stuff! So I thought I would take this opportunity to post a little thank you to all my clients. This set is from July/Aug 2013 when I got to make gorgeous photos with awesome people. I couldn't be happier with all the fantastic work I had- and hope to continue having with everyone. Thank You!
Have a wonderful holiday season, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year :)

Bored in the boonies!
I recently took a short roadtrip up north with some fellow photographer friends to shoot in Bodie, CA. There is an old ghost town there that is awesome fodder for a load of instant film buffs looking for adventure. Alas, the sun was high and the days long... so some of us got a little bored... and little creative with props!
We had some down time while the other half of the expedition was still out finding abandoned goodies, so after relaxing a bit- I decided to empty out my bag of tricks! I just so happened to have packed my mumu, luchador mask and willy wonka goggles. Traci then became Mrs. Roper, The Sleestack. A million laughs later, we ended up with some awesome photos to document the crazy afternoon. Sometimes, it's the random shoots that you end up loving the most!
